Greenhouse and High Tunnel Kits - Gothic Style NRCS Approved

Mindful Farmer Greenhouse and High Tunnels are built to last and designed for the serious hobbyist, homesteader, and professional farmer. High tunnels come in a variety of sizes and feature a gabled (gothic) roof (to shed snow), trusses on every bow, an all-metal frame, and braced end walls.

High tunnels are customized to your specific needs and are built for all-season growing. Open the doors of the high tunnels, roll-up the sides, and cover with shade cloth in the summer to keep plants and gardeners cool and comfortable. Close it up tight to grow gorgeous produce or flowers all winter long.

Our tunnels utilize 14-gauge 1 3/8” galvanized steel tubing for bows and ground posts for our 20' wide tunnels. Our 30' wide tunnels are made of 2" galvanized steel tubing, also 14-gauge. Ground posts are driven 2.5 to 3’ into the ground on 4ft centers. Every bow is further strengthened with V-trusses (W-trusses on 30' tunnels)  that provide significant storm resistance and can also be used to support trellising for vertical growing.

Mindful Farmer high tunnels and greenhouses have been designed with affordability and durability in mind and meet the demands of harsh weather conditions without being over-engineered, under-engineered, or lacking in features. Our one-of-a-kind endwall system allows for fast and easy installation while improving strength and durability over traditional designs. 

All structures are covered under the NRCS EQIP cost-share program. Standard features of all sizes and styles of tunnels and greenhouses include:

Greenhouses closely resemble high tunnels but do not have roll-up sides. Instead, greenhouses utilize thermostatically controlled vents and fans to control temperatures. Heating options are custom quoted after discussing your project needs.

Tax Exempt with Commercial Farming Sales Tax Exemption

By purchasing a high tunnel or greenhouse kit from Mindful Farmer (Mindful Honey LLC DBA Mindful Farmer), you (“Customer”) acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Orders, Specifications & Payment

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the size, configuration, options, quantities, shipping method, and other specifications of their kit before completing an order. The specifications shown on the order confirmation are considered the approved specifications.

Because kits may include materials that are ordered, manufactured, cut, fabricated, or packaged specifically for an order, changes requested after production begins may not be possible and may result in additional charges.

Full payment is required before pickup, shipment, or delivery. When a 50% deposit option is offered, the deposit reserves the Customer's place in the production schedule, but the remaining balance must be paid in full before the kit is released.

Applicable sales tax will be charged unless valid tax-exemption documentation has been received and approved.

Mindful Farmer reserves the right to verify purchaser identity, billing and shipping information, payment authorization, and other order information for fraud prevention. Orders may be placed on hold, require additional verification or an alternative payment method, or be canceled and refunded when fraud or unauthorized payment is reasonably suspected.

2. Production, Shipping & Delivery

High tunnel and greenhouse kits are manufactured and fulfilled to order. Unless otherwise stated, please allow up to four weeks for production before your kit is ready for pickup or shipment.

Production and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Seasonal demand, weather, material availability, NRCS funding cycles, carrier delays, supply-chain disruptions, government actions, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect fulfillment times.

Typical transit time after leaving our facility is approximately 2–3 business days for direct-truck delivery or up to 5 business days for LTL freight. Production time and freight transit time are separate.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and a location reasonably accessible to the delivery vehicle.

3. Signature Required & Receiving Your Kit

A signature is required for all high tunnel and greenhouse kit deliveries and customer pickups.

The Customer or an authorized representative must sign for the order at delivery or pickup. A signed delivery receipt, bill of lading, pickup receipt, or electronic acknowledgment constitutes evidence that the order was received by the Customer or an authorized representative.

Customers should inspect the shipment for obvious freight damage or missing packages at delivery and note visible discrepancies on the carrier's delivery receipt whenever reasonably possible.

Customers have 30 days from receipt to inventory the kit and report missing, incorrect, damaged, or defective components. Photographs or other documentation may be required. For valid claims, Mindful Farmer will generally repair or replace the affected component rather than accept return of the entire kit.

Signing for delivery confirms receipt but does not waive the Customer's 30-day inspection period for concealed damage, missing components, or incorrect components.

If the Customer or an authorized representative is unavailable for a scheduled delivery, any resulting redelivery, detention, storage, or additional freight charges are the Customer's responsibility.

4. Cancellations, Returns & Restocking Fee

Cancellation requests should be made as soon as possible. Because kits may contain materials purchased, cut, fabricated, packaged, or otherwise prepared specifically for the Customer, costs already incurred before cancellation may be deducted from any refund.

Once an order has been picked up or shipped, it is subject to our return policy.

All returns require prior authorization from Mindful Farmer and eligible returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

For returns resulting from a change of mind, incorrect Customer selection, project cancellation, inability to install the structure, or another reason not caused by Mindful Farmer:

• The Customer is responsible for all return freight, transportation, loading, insurance, and related costs.
• Original shipping, freight, delivery, and handling charges are non-refundable.
• Returned merchandise must be unused, uninstalled, complete, undamaged, and in resalable condition.
• Custom-fabricated, special-order, altered, installed, used, or cut-to-length components may be non-returnable and non-refundable.
• Missing, damaged, used, or non-resalable components may be deducted from the refund.
• Refunds are issued only after returned merchandise has been received and inspected.

The 15% restocking fee applies to the purchase price of merchandise accepted for return, excluding original shipping, delivery, and other non-refundable charges.

Refusing delivery does not constitute cancellation. Customers are responsible for freight, storage, redelivery, return shipping, and other carrier charges resulting from refused or undeliverable shipments. If the order is subsequently returned, the standard return and restocking terms above apply.

5. Limited Warranty

Mindful Farmer provides a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in components supplied as part of the kit. Covered components will be repaired or replaced at Mindful Farmer's discretion.

Greenhouse plastic may carry a separate manufacturer's warranty, including an applicable four-year manufacturer's warranty against qualifying manufacturing defects, subject to the manufacturer's terms and approval.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by severe weather; wind, hail, snow, ice, flooding, or tornadoes; improper installation or anchoring; modifications; accidents; misuse; neglect; normal wear and tear; or failure to reasonably inspect and maintain the structure.

Customers are strongly encouraged to add their high tunnel or greenhouse to an appropriate farm, business, or homeowner's insurance policy for protection against severe weather and other unforeseen events.

6. Installation & Customer Responsibility

Unless installation is specifically included in the order, the purchase is for the kit and selected components only.

The Customer is responsible for site preparation, permits, zoning, utility locations, installation, proper anchoring, maintenance, and determining whether the structure is appropriate for the intended site and use.

Customers participating in NRCS, EQIP, grant, or cost-share programs are responsible for confirming that their selected kit and installation satisfy their individual program requirements unless Mindful Farmer has specifically agreed in writing to provide that service.

High tunnels and greenhouses require ongoing inspection and maintenance. Mindful Farmer is not responsible for maintenance or weather-related repairs after delivery or installation.

7. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If there is a problem with an order, the Customer agrees to contact Mindful Farmer and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

A change of mind, refusal of delivery, estimated production time, carrier delay outside Mindful Farmer's control, or an issue Mindful Farmer has offered to correct under these Terms does not alter the applicable cancellation, return, freight, restocking, or warranty policies.

Mindful Farmer may provide order records, acceptance of these Terms, payment information, correspondence, tracking information, bills of lading, pickup records, and delivery signatures to payment processors, banks, or card issuers in response to a payment dispute.

Nothing in these Terms limits a Customer's rights regarding genuinely unauthorized transactions or other rights that cannot legally be waived.

8. Limitation of Liability & Acceptance

To the extent permitted by law, Mindful Farmer is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the transportation, installation, use, failure, or loss of use of a high tunnel or greenhouse, including crop loss, lost revenue, lost production, business interruption, or losses resulting from severe weather.

Mindful Farmer is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, material shortages, supply-chain disruptions, labor interruptions, or government actions.

By checking the Terms and Conditions box and completing your purchase, you confirm that you:

• Have reviewed and approved your kit specifications;
• Understand that production and delivery dates are estimates;
• Agree to inspect and report missing, damaged, or incorrect components within 30 days;
• Understand that a signature is required at delivery or pickup;
• Agree that Customer-choice returns require prior authorization, are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and require the Customer to pay return transportation costs;
• Understand that original freight and delivery charges are non-refundable and certain custom or cut components may not be returnable;
• Understand that severe-weather damage is not covered by Mindful Farmer's warranty; and
• Have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
