Directions for Use: Apply approximately 1 to 2 pounds (lbs.) per 100 square feet for new gardens or poor soil. For existing gardens:
- apply approximately 2-5 lbs. per 500 square feet per planting,
- approximately 10-20 lbs. per 2000 square feet per planting,
- approximately 50-125 lbs. per ¼ acre per planting, or
- approximately 200-500 lbs. per acre per planting.
For new transplants, add 1-2 tablespoons per plant. For established plants and shrubs, side dress 1-2 ounces once a month during the growing season. For containers, add 1-2 teaspoons per gallon of soil monthly for established plants. For fortifying potting soils and seed starting mixes, add 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil.
Note: A dust mask is recommended for applying dry fertilizer. Also, keep bag closed and stored in dry area.
